Demo draft for this prototype: plausible content, but it would need legal review before any real public launch.
Inveni Alert is the controller of the data collected through this platform. For any privacy-related request, you can contact us at the address listed at the bottom of this page.
To publish a case: name, age, physical description, location and date of last sighting, photographs, and any health or vulnerability data (for preventive profiles). From reporters: email, phone (optional) and the content of the report or sighting. Preventive profiles may contain health data (e.g. dementia, Alzheimer's), treated as a special category of data under GDPR Art. 9.
We process public case data on the basis of a legitimate interest in helping find missing people and pets, and on the basis of explicit consent for preventive profiles (health data). Sighting reports are processed to enable contact between the reporter and the family or relevant authorities.
Published cases are visible to anyone accessing the registry, including search engines. Sighting reports are shared with whoever published the case and, where relevant, with law enforcement. Preventive profiles stay private and are never published automatically.
Public cases are kept until the case is closed (found) or at the request of whoever published it. Preventive profiles remain archived until revoked by their creator. Sighting reports are kept for as long as needed to handle the case they relate to.
You have the right to access, rectify, delete or request portability of your data, and to object to processing, at any time and free of charge, under GDPR Articles 15–22. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address at the bottom of the page.
We adopt appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data from unauthorised access, loss or disclosure, particularly for preventive profiles containing health data.
