Terms of Service

Demo draft for this prototype: plausible content, but it would need legal review before any real public launch.

1. Acceptance of terms

By using Inveni Alert you accept these terms. If you disagree, please don't use the platform.

2. What we offer

Inveni Alert is a civic registry collecting reports of missing people and pets across Europe, to help spread information and receive sighting reports from the community.

3. Publication requirements

Publishing a case about a person requires a missing-person report already filed with law enforcement. Publishing a case about a pet requires a verified email. Inveni Alert reserves the right to refuse or remove a listing that doesn't meet these requirements or that is false, misleading or abusive.

4. Reports are not verified

Sighting reports submitted by users are not verified by Inveni Alert before reaching whoever published the case. They never replace calling law enforcement (112) or emergency services (116000) in a real emergency.

5. Prohibited conduct

You may not publish false information, harass the families or people involved, use the platform for purposes other than searching for missing people or pets, or attempt to access other users' private data (including preventive profiles).

6. Limitation of liability

Inveni Alert provides a tool for spreading information but does not guarantee the accuracy of reports published by users, nor that a person or pet will be found. Use of the platform is at your own risk.

7. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of the platform after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by Italian law and applicable EU regulation, without prejudice to any mandatory provisions of the user's country of residence within the European Union.
